Thriving in Motion
Published Fri 28 Nov 2025
On Saturday 22 November, Rowing WA and the West Australian Rowing Club ran a rowing activity at this year’s Thriving in Motion End of Year Carnival on the UWA campus.
Thriving in Motion’s mission is to use exercise expertise to improve the health of kids and young people, celebrating uniqueness and diversity, and offering an inclusive exercise environment for all kids and young people. The carnival offered a range of activities on a beautiful spring morning.
This is the first time that rowing has been offered and the ergo activities were an absolute hit. Some of the participants were keen to test their watt output or target a distance while others were drawn into the challenge of playing the Fish Game.
West Australian Rowing Club members Marisha and Giorgia excelled at engaging with the kids and families.
