Published Thu 20 Oct 2022

Over the coming months, Rowing WA will be featuring our Boat Race Officials & introducing them to the WA rowing community.

As recipient of the inaugural "Rowing WA Official Encouragement Award", presented at the recent Rower of the Year Awards, we would like to introduce you to KG.

KG is a Level 2 Boat Race Official & commenced officiating in 2019, becoming a qualified Level 2 in 2021. He has officiated at 20 regattas this year mixing the season up between Masters regattas, head races, PSA & IGSSA regattas, & RWA Pennant Regattas. He also helped at the recent UniSport Nationals.

KG’s passion for the sport of rowing is evident in his commitment to the sport not just in officiating but coaching as well.
