Kennards Joins AMRC 2026 as Equipment Partner
Rowing WA is pleased to announce Kennards Hire as an Equipment Partner of the 2026 Australian Masters Rowing Championships (AMRC), to be held in Perth at Champion Lakes Regatta Centre in May 2026.
The partnership will see Kennards Hire provide critical event infrastructure and equipment support to assist with the delivery of one of Australia’s largest multiday rowing regattas, supporting event operations from bump-in through to pack down. As a high visibility equipment partner, Kennards Hire will play a key role behind the scenes in ensuring the championships are delivered safely, efficiently and to a professional standard.
AMRC 2026 will bring together over 1,500 athletes, officials, volunteers and spectators from across Australia, with Champion Lakes transforming into a busy, safety-critical event site over several days. The partnership reflects a strong alignment between the two organisations, particularly around reliability, large-scale event delivery and supporting community sport in Western Australia.
Rowing WA CEO, Daniel Tackenberg, said the partnership with Kennards Hire was a natural fit for the championships:
“Delivering a national event of this scale relies on trusted partners who understand the demands of complex, multi-day operations,” Tackenberg said. “Kennards Hire’s willingness to support the 2026 AMRC through equipment provision reflects a shared commitment to professionalism, safety and community sport. Their support will make a tangible difference to how the championships are delivered on the ground.”
Kennards Hire Area Manager, WA Operations - Jack White said the championships presented a valuable opportunity to support a major sporting event while showcasing Kennards Hire's capability in event infrastructure and logistics.
“The Australian Masters Rowing Championships is a significant national event with strong community impact,” White said. “We’re pleased to support the 2026 AMRC by providing essential equipment that helps ensure the event runs smoothly and safely. It’s a great opportunity for Kennards Hire to be involved in a professionally run championship that brings people together from across the country.”
Beyond operational support, the partnership highlights shared values between Rowing WA and Kennards Hire — including a focus on safety-critical delivery, reliability under pressure, and supporting organisations and volunteers who bring major community events to life. The collaboration also provides Kennards Hire with meaningful onsite visibility and engagement with clubs, and sporting organisations that regularly rely on hire equipment to deliver events across Australia.
As host of AMRC 2026, Rowing WA continues to work closely with partners who enable the championships to be delivered at the highest standard, while showcasing Western Australia as a premier destination for national sporting events.
The 2026 Australian Masters Rowing Championships will take place from 27–30 May 2026 at Champion Lakes Regatta Centre, welcoming competitors and supporters from across Australia to Western Australia.
Organisations interested in partnering with the 2026 Australian Masters Rowing Championships are encouraged to get in touch with Rowing WA to explore tailored partnership opportunities aligned with this nationally recognised event.
