Coaching and Officiating Action Plan Focus Group

The Australian Sports Commission, in partnership with the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport, is inviting community coaches and officials to help shape Coaching and Officiating Action Plans.

These plans will define a clear direction for a coherent system to attract and support coaches and officials with a focus on community sport.

Community input will inform practical actions to better support coaches and officials, and the environments they shape in sport. Feedback will be used to codesign national direction, with a focus on what works in local contexts.

In-person focus group details:

• Date: Wednesday 11 June 2026
• Time: 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm
• Venue: CITS conference room; 246 Vincent Street, Leederville
• Audience: Grassroots to competition-level community coaches
  and officials
