Bont Rowing Joins AMRC 2026
Published Thu 07 May 2026
Bont Rowing Joins AMRC 2026 as Performance & Sustainability Partner
Rowing WA is pleased to welcome Bont Rowing as the Performance & Sustainability Partner for the 2026 Australian Masters Rowing Championships (AMRC), to be held in Western Australia from 27–30 May 2026.
The AMRC is a performance‑driven event — not just about speed, but about longevity, efficiency and staying injury‑free over decades of competition. This makes Bont Rowing a natural and highly aligned partner for one of the largest and most inclusive regattas on the Australian rowing calendar.
As an Australian‑owned brand specialising in high‑performance footwear, injury prevention and individualised fit, Bont Rowing shares AMRC’s commitment to helping athletes perform better for longer. Masters’ rowers are highly invested athletes who train consistently, travel to compete and make deliberate choices about equipment that supports long‑term health — a space where Bont Rowing’s expertise and innovation genuinely adds value.
Through this partnership, Bont Rowing will play an active role in the AMRC experience by delivering education‑led messaging around shoe fit, alignment and individualisation, showcasing how informed equipment choices can support performance, comfort and injury prevention across all stages of an athlete’s rowing journey.
The partnership will also highlight Bont Rowing’s commitment to sustainability, including a responsible recycling initiative that align with the values of the Masters rowing community and the broader event legacy objectives of AMRC 2026.
Rowing WA Chief Executive Officer Daniel Tackenberg said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to performance and long‑term athlete wellbeing.
“AMRC 2026 is built on partnerships that genuinely add value to the athlete experience. Bont Rowing’s approach goes far beyond traditional sponsorship — it’s about education, informed choice and supporting Masters rowers to make decisions that benefit both performance and long‑term athlete health.”
Kathleen Hextell, Commercial and Product Manager at Bont Rowing, said the Australian Masters Rowing Championships perfectly aligns with the brand’s performance‑led philosophy,
“Masters athletes are some of the most committed, informed and passionate competitors in rowing. AMRC provides a unique opportunity for us to engage directly with athletes who care deeply about performance, comfort and longevity. Partnering with Rowing WA for AMRC 2026 allows us to share our expertise in individualised fit, injury prevention and sustainability with a community that truly values those principles.”
Rowing WA looks forward to working with Bont Rowing to deliver a partnership that reflects the shared values of performance, education, longevity and community, and to welcoming them to the AMRC family in 2026.
Further details on event activations will be shared through the Rowing WA socials.
The 2026 Australian Masters Rowing Championships will take place from 27–30 May 2026 at Champion Lakes Regatta Centre, welcoming competitors and supporters from across Australia to Western Australia.
Organisations interested in partnering with the 2026 Australian Masters Rowing Championships are encouraged to get in touch with Rowing WA to explore tailored partnership opportunities aligned with this nationally recognised event.
