Applications Open: 2026 Asian Tour to Hong Kong
Published Tue 30 Jun 2026
Asian Engagement Tour 2026 (outbound)
Rowing WA is pleased to invite Expressions of Interest for the 2026 Asian Engagement Tour, offering Under 26 rowers and coxswains the chance to compete internationally at the 48th Hong Kong Rowing Championships.
The tour will see two eights (one men’s and one women’s crew) and two coxswains selected to represent Western Australia, with additional racing opportunities in smaller boats. Coaches are also encouraged to apply to lead the crews (if possible, one male and one female).
Supported by the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport, the program provides a subsidised pathway for emerging athletes to experience international racing and build connections beyond the course.
Building on the success of the 2024 and 2025 Asian Engagement tours, the 2026 program continues to combine performance, development and cultural exchange, giving athletes exposure to new environments on and off the water.
Tour dates are scheduled for 12–23 November 2026, allowing flexibility around the Hong Kong Championships schedule.
Athletes must be under 26 and 18 years or older at the time of departure (unless otherwise approved).
👉 Applications are now open!
