2026 WA Indoor Rowing Championships

Entries are now open for the 2026 WA Indoor Rowing Championships, set to take place on Sunday 7 June at All Saints’ College.

Bringing together the rowing community and beyond, Indoor Champs offers a dynamic, fast-paced racing environment that is accessible to all — from experienced athletes and club members to school groups, gym users and first-time competitors.

With a format designed for maximum participation and engagement, the event removes barriers to entry and provides a welcoming, high-energy introduction to the sport.

Something for Everyone

The Championships feature a full program of events across multiple distances and categories, ensuring there is an option for every athlete. Competitors can test themselves across:

500m sprints
1000m races
2000m endurance events
4 × 500m relays across U17, U19, Open and Masters categories

Athletes can compete individually or as part of a team, making Indoor Champs an ideal event for schools, clubs, workplaces and social groups looking to take part together.

How to Enter

Participants can register via the following options:

Rowing WA Members: Enter via Rowing Manager!

Athletes who are not currently registered with Rowing WA can still compete by completing a general public registration (includes a one-day registration/insurance component).

Non-members / General Public: Enter via the Rowing WA Website!

Championship Honours

Beyond individual races, Indoor Champs is also where community pride takes centre stage. Points from every event contribute to overall standings, with coveted championship trophies awarded to the top-performing groups across the day:
