Workshop: Keeping Kids Safe and Supported in Sport

Presented by Wendy Carter from Sport Integrity Australia

Sport Integrity Australia, in collaboration with Rowing WA, Rowing Australia and WA Government, is offering a free Safeguarding in Sport education session.

Join us for an informative session designed for parents and carers to learn how to create a positive, safe sporting experience for children and young people.

What you’ll learn:

• How to choose a child-safe club and what questions to ask
• Your role in supporting your child’s enjoyment and wellbeing in sport
• Practical tips for positive sideline behaviour and communication
• How clubs ensure child safety through policies, checks, and training
• Reporting concerns and accessing support
