Child Safeguarding Workshop for Athletes (14yrs - 17yrs)

Presented by Mat Sinclair from Sport Integrity Australia

Sport Integrity Australia, in collaboration with Rowing WA, Rowing Australia and WA Government, is offering a free Safeguarding in Sport education session.

Join us for an engaging session designed for children and young people to understand their rights and how to stay safe while enjoying sport.

What you’ll learn:

• Why sport should always be fun and safe
• Your rights and responsibilities in sport
• What behaviour is okay and what’s not okay
• How adults such as coaches, parents, volunteers—keep you safe
• What to do if you feel scared, hurt or uncomfortable

Why attend?

• Learn how to speak up if something doesn’t feel right
• Understand the Children and Young People Safeguarding Policy
• Get practical tips and resources to stay safe and confident
