Commonwealth Beach Sprint Wrap Up

WA athletes shone at the Commonwealth Rowing Association Beach Sprint Championships in Barbados, delivering an outstanding medal haul. Congratulations on your performance!

• Oceane Jeannerat (FRC): U19 Women's Solo & Team Relay - Gold
• Blake Whyatt (WARC): Men’s Solo, Mixed Double & Team Relay - Gold

Representing Wales:

• Thea Adamson (UWABC): Mixed Double - Silver

Beach Sprint Regatta #1 Wrap Up

Our first beach sprint event of the season was a fantastic success! Perfect weather, fast racing, and plenty of fun for everyone involved made it a day to remember.

Asian Tour - Hengqin Regatta, China

Rowing WA’s Asian Engagement squad departed today for Hengqin, China, to compete in the University category at the Tian Mu rowing course. Representing WA with pride, our athletes from CUBC, UWABC, FRC and SRRC will race in men’s and women’s eights for a place in the finals. This tour, supported by a grant from the department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport in Western Australia, strengthens international ties and showcases WA as a premier rowing destination.

Guildford on Swan – PSA Regatta Delivers Thrills!

The second PSA regatta on November 15 was a spectacular day of racing under warm, sunny skies. Congratulations to Aquinas College for taking out 1st place in the 1st Eights, with Guildford Grammar in 2nd and Trinity College in 3rd.

A huge thank you to Guildford Grammar for hosting such a wonderful event – your efforts made the day unforgettable!

Next Up Trinity Bridges...

Last by not least is Trinity Bridges on Saturday 29 November. Be sure to pop in to watch some top notch racing! This regatta has it all, 2500m racing, 500m sprints, some single sculling and ending the day in the A and B Finals.

AMRC 2026 – Right on Our Doorstep!

Get ready for an unforgettable year as the Australian Masters Rowing Championships come to our very own backyard in 2026! With phenomenal participation expected, this event promises to be a highlight on the rowing calendar. Alongside strong overall representation, the excitement of the Master's Interstate Race will add to the spectacle.

Nominations for the WA Masters State Team open December 2, and we’re calling for rowers to fill D Grade Masters Men’s and Women’s Eights as well as D Grade Masters Men’s and Women’s Quads.
