Volunteers needed - Australian Masters Rowing Championships

From 27–30 May 2026, Rowing WA will welcome Masters rowers from across Australia for the Championship Regatta. This major national event relies on the commitment of volunteers and offers a unique opportunity to be part of the action, with no experience required.

Conall is ready to receive your volunteer registrations and looks forward to your support!

Nominations now open!

Eligible athletes are invited to nominate for the 2026 Oceanic U22 Teams Rowing Championships, a new and exciting interstate pathway opportunity. This event brings together the best emerging talent to represent their state in high performance racing, development and a Championship to remember!

Legion of Rowers Function

The rowing community is invited to join the 2026 State Team for the Legion of Rowers function on Sunday 15 March 2026. Starting at the conclusion of the Beefsteakers Breakfast, the Legion of Rowers is an opportunity for family, friends, former State Team members, and the wider WA rowing community to join the current team for the presentation of their State Team uniform.

With the first 3 regattas behind us, we are officially halfway through the 2026 PSA season, and the racing has been outstanding!
Regatta #4 comes to you this weekend, proudly hosted by Scotch College, as crews continue to build momentum.

  Albany Regatta Wrap Up
 

2026 Albany Regatta, record participation!

Over 100 competitors from 9 clubs descended on Albany for the long weekend, with racing taking place on Sunday 1st March. The Albany weekend has a great balance of racing and social events, with plenty opportunity to mingle.

  Easter Regatta - Mildura Rowing Club
 

Easter getaway with a Regatta!

Wentworth District Rowing Club and Mildura Rowing Club invite you to join in their 2026 Easter Regatta on the Darling River at Wentworth, NSW.

The Regatta features two days of racing, with 1000m on Saturday and 500m on Sunday.

Bring the family and join in great racing while enjoying your Easter getaway!

WA Sport Awards 

Rowing WA was proudly represented at the 2025 WA Sport Awards, with junior athletes Jack Hansen‑Knarhoi and Lachlan Brown named finalists, and long‑serving official Brett Woolfitt awarded the prestigious May Campbell Medal for Service to Sport.
The recognition highlights both emerging talent and decades of dedicated volunteer contribution within the WA rowing community.
 

  Regional Athlete Subsidy & Scholarship Opportunities
 

Subsidies & Scholarships up for grabs

Regional junior rowers in WA may be eligible for a range of subsidies and scholarship opportunities, including travel support and academy‑based programs across the Peel, South West and Great Southern regions. These programs support athletes aged approximately 12 to 21 years, with several opportunities opening or closing between March and April 2026.
