On-Water Safety Reminder: Lighting & Speed Compliance
Following recent feedback, we are reminding all members of the importance of complying with on-water safety requirements—particularly during winter conditions.
Rowing boats must display appropriate lights in low visibility and around sunrise/sunset, and safety/coaching vessels must operate at a safe and appropriate speed at all times. These are requirements under both maritime regulations and Rowing WA’s exemption conditions.
Please ensure you are familiar with and adhere to the On-Water Safety Guidelines
Let’s all play our part in keeping our community safe on the water.
