On This Weekend!

Entries have closed & the race schedule is finalised for tomorrow's Big Boat Sprint Regatta in Bunbury.

Hosted by Bunbury Rowing Club, the Big Boat Sprint Regatta attracts a large amount of entries from all metro & regional clubs who make a weekend of it by enjoying everything our beautiful south west has to offer.

This year is no exception to the rule - COVID has not dampened the spirits of our rowers! With 30 events on the race card, 81 entries & 152 athletes registered - this weekend is going to be BIG!

Good luck to everyone heading to Bunbury for the weekend. Drive Safe, Stay Safe!

WA Kit Presentation

With their last training session fast approaching before they head off to Canberra, our Pathways VIII squad eagerly received their WA kit this morning at Champion Lakes Regatta Centre.

For many, it will be the first time donning the black & gold, so as you can see, there were big smiles all round!

We wish our athletes the very best of luck in Canberra!


 

WA's Masters State Team Announced!

Rowing WA is pleased to announce the rowers & coxswain who have been selected to represent WA at the upcoming 2022 Australian Masters Rowing Championships.

RWA Development Projects | Assistance from the Rowing Community

With the current facility projects that we have on the go, especially the Canning Bridge Rowing Centre renovation we are looking for senior tradesman who can assist Rowing WA to conduct their hold point inspections related to the ‘Landlord Works’ component of the renovation including electrical, plumbing and gas, roofing and carpentry.

Rowing to Honour the Australian & New Zealand
Defence Forces.

Rowing Australia is taking on Rowing NZ to see which country can clock the most amount of 2504 metres from dawn to dusk on Monday 25.04.2022 to honour Anzac Day.

Rowing WA Water Safety Guidelines

Rowing WA now has a new Water Safety Guidelines & Risk Mitigation page with valuable, up to date information in relation to the new water safety guideline.

Rowing WA’s Safety Guidelines seek to ensure that personal safety is paramount and that local codes of practice and rules are upheld.

As part of the new conditions under the Speed Exemption, all motorised vessel operators (i.e. coaches) will need to formally acknowledge that they have read and understood these new Safety Guidelines.
