Rowing Australia has announced the names of the Australian umpires who have been selected for World Rowing Juries in 2022 - there is a local to be congratulated!

2022 Rowing Australia Coach & Official Conference to take place on the Gold Coast from 22 - 24 April 2022.

The conference theme for 2022 is "Coaching Effectiveness".

World renowned coach developer, Professor Jean Cote is flying over from Canada as Rowing Australia's keynote speaker & will be joined by RA's new High Performance Director Paul Thompson who will be discussing his time successfully coaching overseas, both in the UK & China.

PSA Regatta #2 | Saturday, 12.02.2022

Watch the crews battle it out on the water in exciting, tight-knit racing at Champion Lakes Regatta Centre tomorrow morning!

Host school Christ Church Grammar School will be putting on an awesome spread, making sure rowers & spectators alike are well fed.

It's been a few weeks now since Rowing WA staff vacated HQ at Canning Bridge prior to construction commencing.  Since then site fencing has gone up & work has commenced on replacing electrics & lighting.

The awning over the front verandah has been removed & gutting of the function room is clearly underway.

The next couple of weeks will see scaffolding erected at the site as further works prepare to commence on the building.  This is a very exciting time as old is enhanced by new & change can be seen starting to unfold.

Rowing Australia (RA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Lyall McCarthy OAM to the role of Senior Coach at the Reinhold Batschi Men’s National Training Centre (NTC).

McCarthy has been the Pathways Head Coach at RA since 2017. A Coach of Olympic and World Champions, McCarthy has also contributed to the sport of rowing as an athlete.

The Australian Masters Games are featuring Indoor rowing – outside! Yes you heard correctly.

Located right in the heart of Perth city, beside Games Central, you'll be rowing to the cheers of city workers and passers-by from Tuesday 26 April – Wednesday 27 April 2022.

Events will include 2000m, 1000m, 500m, 100m and 4x500m relay, and categories will include lightweight male and female, open male and female and para.

If you would like to be placed in a relay team as an individual, please select the option within the registration system, and AMG will endeavour to assist.
