Australian Rowing Team Continues to Achieve "Oarsome" Results at #WRC2022

Our Aussie crews are continuing to pull in the results in Racice at the World Rowing Championships!

With just 2 more days of racing remaining over this weekend, all eyes will be on those crews in the A-Final races.

This FREE program is specifically targeted at potential rowers with physical, intellectual or neurological challenges.

Entries Now Open for #AIRC22

Join the action in this year’s virtual Australian Indoor Rowing Championships!

Saturday, 29 October will see competitors from across Australia testing themselves against the rowing machine & staking their claim as best in Oceania. Yes, that’s right our mates from across the ditch will be competing alongside in a simultaneous event that will be live streamed.

Live racing results & webcam video of competitors from all over Australia & New Zealand will be broadcast on the AIRC platform.

You can take part in 500m, 1000m, 2000m individual & 4 x 500m team relay across all age grades.

NSW Boat Race Official Seminar w/ Greg Smith

Similar to last year’s Boat Race Official seminar, Greg Smith will be hosting two sessions this year, which will take place virtually in October and November. Both sessions will be exactly the same & will cover Level 1 & Level 2 information & will be a great source of information for aspiring trainees. The seminar will run for 2 hours with time for questions towards the end.

With this, Rowing NSW would like to extend the invite to all BROs & prospective BROs to join them in either session below. Two dates are scheduled for those who can’t make one or the other:

  • 6pm, Thursday 13th October
  • 6pm, Thursday 10th November

Rowing Australia | Masters Handicaps Update

The RA Masters Commission have made updates to the women’s masters handicaps after a rounding issue was found recently.

Updated handicaps (Appendix 10 to the RA Rules) that have now been approved by the RA Board & can be read below.
