Our Olympic Rowers Need You WA!

When our WA rowers head to Tokyo, they won't have their usual vocal rowing support in the stands - so we want them to have it in written or pictorial form around them in the tent at the boat park!

Send your messages of support (fitted to an A4 page) direct to Rowing Australia at: info@rowingaustralia.com.au

The message can be written, a drawing, an image with words on it - anything that you'd like to send - to let our WA Olympic rowers know you're supporting them from home!

Rowing Australia is ready to receive your messages for our team!

2021 World Rowing Masters Regatta, Linz-Ottensheim, is CANCELLED

The Linz-Ottensheim Organising Committee (OC) has cancelled the 2021 World Rowing Masters Regatta. This decision was reluctantly supported by the World Rowing Masters Rowing Commission and confirmed by the World Rowing Executive Committee.

The 2021 WRMR was set to be held from 1-5 September 2021 in Austria. Due to the continuing pandemic and, in particular, the emergence of the Delta variant, it is now expected that the cross-border and intercontinental travel will continue to be difficult, resulting in very low attendance.

Congratulations Gemma from Bunbury Rowing Club - Local Legend Winner!

Local legend winner, Gemma from Bunbury – a passionate rower at Bunbury Rowing Club - shared an awesome poem.

“Rowing in the bay. Such a beautiful day. In the water floats a can. 'Thats not cool man'.... What is cool though. Containers for Change. So over we row & grab that can. Next minute 10 cents in the hand. Thanks Containers for Change. Empty containers off to the exchange.”

Way to go Gemma, thanks for keeping our waters clean!
