9th April 2022

Dear [[FIRST_NAME]],

Congratulations to all our wonderful athletes who competed at the Australian Rowing Championships last week, it was terrific to see such great representation of our state.  Thank you for being such first-class representatives of rowing in WA.

With Easter just around the corner, Rowing WA's office will be closed over the break, full details are below.  If you're rowing over the Easter break, enjoy the time off & make sure you return refreshed & ready for the remainder of the regatta season!

Stay Safe, Stay Rowing!

"Thank you to the marvellous rowing community for making the 2022 Australian Rowing Championships a success. Your training, travel & organisational plans have changed, but your positive attitude has stayed strong. It's been a huge team effort to make this event happen & we couldn't have done it without everyone's support."

With a lot of activity happening at Canning Bridge & Champion Lakes we thought a quick update would be great!

Rowing WA's CEO, Daniel Tackenberg recently inspected the project works at both Canning Bridge & Champion Lakes Regatta Centre.

Wednesday, 06.04.2022 saw a small, intimate group of rowers attend our Hour of Power "The Art of Coxing for Coaching & Coxswains".

Presented by Andrew Le, the evening evolved into a round-table style presentation enabling everyone to discuss & contribute in an open forum.

It was very interesting to hear Andrew's journey as a coxswain & the experience he has gained along the way.

Attendees from the evening also earnt points towards the Act Belong Commit | 2022 Club & Schools Engagement Competition.

If you are yet to enter the competition for your club / school,
