As the year draws to an end, Rowing WA would like to congratulate all our clubs, members, family & friends on another great year.  Everyone has worked so hard throughout 2022 & we appreciate all the involvement & support it takes to keep this wonderful sport of ours going.

Rowing WA Office Christmas Closure

Even though we have only just returned to our beautiful office at Canning Bridge HQ, the Rowing WA team will be closing for the Christmas break from Friday, 23.12.2022 at 5pm & will resume business as of Tuesday, 06.01.2023 at 9am.

Stay safe over the break & enjoy lots of recreational rowing!

Continuing Our Commitment to Raising the Profile of Masters Rowing in WA.

Rowing WA is looking to field the most competitive interstate crews possible for the Interstate Masters events which are part of the Australian Masters Rowing Championships (AMRC).

In 2023 the Regatta will be contested at the Sydney International Regatta Centre (SIRC), Sydney (1-4 June 2023).

Rowing WA will be utilising a collaborative self-selection approach for the selection of the Interstate Masters Crews. Expressions of Interest will open on Monday, 09.01.2023.

Hancock Prospecting 2022 Rower of The Year Awards - Friday, 02.12.2022

The "Club of the Year" award is presented to the club that has made the most significant impact on its local community by driving rowing participation & development during the year.

The award was accepted by our very own CEO, Dan Tackenberg & presented by RA Board Member, Alison Creagh AM CSC Retired. 

Rowing WA Water Safety Accreditation

In the lead up to the new rowing year commencing sooner than you think, this is a timely reminder that all coaches need to have completed the Rowing WA Water Safety accreditation.

As part of Rowing WA Water Safety Guidelines, all operators of Rowing Safety Vessels must be annually accredited with the following:

  • Recreational Skippers Ticket
  • Working with Children
  • Reading & acknowledging the Rowing WA Training Water Safety Guidelines - Found Here
  • Understanding & acknowledgement of the Speed Exemption - Found Here
