It's that time of year where we celebrate our rowing success stories for the 2021 season! Tickets for the Rower of the Year Awards evening are now on sale. This year sees us in a different venue!

2021 Rower of the Year Awards
Saturday, 23.10.2021

Rowing WA is proud to announce its venue for the 2021 Rower of the Year Awards! Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club will be the beautiful location for the event!

Join us for drinks on the balcony while watching the sun set & then inside to partake in a sumptuous buffet meal while celebrating rowing's achievements for 2021.

Ticket sales are now open so get a table of 10 together or purchase tickets individually!

Rowing WA's DevOps Manager, Sarah Black, gives us her wrap up of the State Championships weekend!

After a successful FULL season or rowing with little, to no interruptions, we arrived at the Rowing WA 2021 State Championships on the weekend of 11-12th September 2021.

Blessed with spectacular spring racing weather, crews enjoyed beautiful conditions over both days that lead to exciting results!

Introducing Our 2021/2022 Masters Committee

RWA called for Masters Committee Nominations last month & had a fantastic response from all clubs.

We are pleased to announce the following members were elected to the Masters Committee for 2021-2022 & will hold their positions for 12months.

ANA Head of the River - Entries Now Open!

The ANA Head of the River is on for 2021 on 31st October! Join in the fun this year by getting dressed in your best Halloween costume - prizes are on offer for scariest out there!

The 2021 Australian Indoor Rowing Championships (AIRC) will be held on Sat 30 October, with options to compete at an event centre or virtually from the comfort of your own home.

Entries are open & the earlier you commit to enter, the sooner you can start training towards your goal, be it a personal best, Australian title, AIRC, Australian or World record!

School Visits Planned for 2021/2022

Rowing WA will be visiting schools through Term 4 2021 & Term 1 2022 to bring awareness to school rowers of their options once they leave school.

Rowing for your school offers an amazing experience & can teach you skills that you will use for the rest of your life.

But where to now??

Rowing WA have put together a presentation to show where you can go with your rowing. Recreational/Social, Competitive, High Performance, Coaching & Officiating are just part of the many options available to you.
