Community Sculling & Learn to Row
Rowing WA has two sculling programmes available at its headquarters on the Canning River. The fleet consists of 10 sculls and a double scull that are available to groups and individuals that wish to learn to row. Instruction is by qualified instructors and current model equipment is used in these programs.
Sculling is enjoyed by people of all ages from 10 to 70 years of age. It is one of the best ways of increasing fitness, strength, flexibility and controlling weight. It is also an excellent stepping stone to rowing as a competitive sport which now days has many opportunities for interstate and overseas travel.
SunSmart Sculling Program
The SunSmart Sculling Academy is a recreational rowing programme sponsored by Cancer Council and Healthway to promote the Cancer Council's health message "SunSmart". The SunSmart Sculling Academy is a convenient way for people to experience rowing first hand, programs are structured to allow progression at an individual level, No pressure you set your own pace.
Schools Sculling Program
The School Sculling Programme is designed to take place within school hours as part of a sport options for Physical Recreation or as Physical Education Studies.

| Location | At the North East corner of Canning Bridge Rowing Centre located at 2 The Esplanade, Mt Pleasant. Meet opposite the lone palm tree growing on the river bank. |
