The 2012 Australian Rowing Championships - Volunteers

The Australian Rowing Championships (ARC 2012) will be held at Champion Lakes Regatta Centre from Monday 5 to Sunday 11 March 2012.

The Organising Committee is asking the rowing community to support the ARC12 as approximately 60 volunteers are required for each racing session. We would be very grateful for your time and assistance and will do our best to find the perfect job for you. Areas we are seeking support are:

• Bar Staff
• Courtesy Bus Drivers
• Gate and Ticket Operations
• Corporate Hosts
• Umpire Boat Drivers
• Venue Maintenance
• Venue Management
• Water Traffic Management
• Parking Control
• Information Runners
• IT Operations
• AV Operations
• Food preparation/distribution
• Trained Medical Staff / Bronze Medallion holders / Surf Life Savers

You can volunteer for a full day or for half-day shifts (7.30am-12.30pm and 12.30-6pm). You will receive a complimentary volunteer shirt and hat to wear during the Championships, as well as food and drinks during your volunteer shifts. Weekday volunteers will also receive free entry to the weekend racing.

Please note that Monday 5 March 2012 is a PUBLIC HOLIDAY.
