Course Features

The Champion Lakes Regatta Centre was completed in 2007 and is the newest purpose built rowing course in Australia with state of the art start/finish towers and timing facilities. The Center is just 23km from Perth's CBD and has easy access from major highways.

Features of the Centre include:

• Pontoon launching
• Warm-up lake and separate off-course channel to start line
• Fully-buoyed 2000 metre course
• Events path over the entire 2000m course
• Start and finish towers
• Athlete and spectator facilities - including cafe-style club house, with shower and change facilities
• Raised grass embankment for excellent specator viewing
